ASSESSMENT OF EFFICIENCY OF FUNCTIONAL ORGANIZATION OF ECOLOGICAL TRAILS WITHIN SPECIALLY PROTECTED NATURAL AREAS
THE PROBLEM OF THE PROPOSED CASE STUDY IS THE PROPER ORGANIZATION AND EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF NATURE TRAILS WITHIN THE SPECIALLY PROTECTED NATURAL AREAS
Case situation: Several ecological trails operate in the specially protected natural areas (SPNA) of the nature monument “Golubinsky Karst Massif” and the reserve “Pinezhsky”. Every year about 20 thousand tourists visit these protected areas. The majority of tourists get acquainted with SPNA through ecological trails and routes. SPNA is characterized by the presence of high natural values, the loss of some of them contributes to the loss of recreational pressure. Conduct a SWOT analysis of the functional organization of existing ecological trails. Develop a list of recommended measures for the proper organization and management of ecological trails in the protected areas.
Two walking trails and one weekend trail are included in the analysis:
