Must-have list
  • Comfortable shoes
For example, tracking shoes. We recommend you to have a spare pair of shoes in case the first one gets wet.
  • A warm sweater
For your information: it was snowing in Arkhangelsk on May 23rd in 2024...
  • Windproof jacket
    It may be windy here.
  • Raincoat or umbrella
Light rain will not be an obstacle for a field trip.
  • Head-dress
Hat or cap is required for field trips
  • Sunscreen
Heat and large amount of ultraviolet are not excluded even in the North.
  • Required medication
If you are taking any medications, do not forget to take them with you. Assemble a first aid kit that can be useful for any trip..
  • Mosquito and tick repellent
We highly recommend to get vaccinated in advance against tick-borne encephalitis or arrange insurance against tick bite.
  • Sleep (eye) mask
During the period of white nights, the night practically does not differ from the day. It will be light around the clock. The mask will help to avoid sleep problems.
  • Laptop
    It makes project work easier.
